Whispering Hills is located in the heart of the Ruatiti Valley, so it is the perfect place to base yourself and explore all the valley has to offer. Our accommodation is located a stone’s throw from the start Mangapurua Track, your access to the stunning Bridge to Nowhere. This track also links through to Blue Duck Station via the Kaiwhakauka Track, making it easy to enjoy many legs of the extensive Mountains to Sea Cycle Trails. If you want help organising your cycling journey, please get in touch as we work with some fantastic tour companies who can make planning your trip seamless.
Exclusive trails
If you want to explore more exclusive options, we have a few private trails that wind through our working sheep and beef farm and traverse old timber milling tracks in the dense native bush. These can be enjoyed on bike or horseback* for most of the year and are available on request**.
*These are unguided trails, and if doing so on horseback, you must bring your own horse. A guide can be organised for you at an additional cost.
